Most of Michelle's artwork has been done in private residences. Publicly, it can be seen in various schools in Broward & Palm Beach Counties, Florida. She also has a mural contract with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Having recently completed the rennovation of "Noogieland" at Gilda's Club South Florida, she now organizes activities and teaches art classes there for adults and children. Michelle is an excellent wildlife painter, her love for animals showing in her work. She offers custom pet portraits and totem animal paintings as well.

Starkey is also an author, illustrator and workshop facilitator. Her book of affirmations for children entitled, Do You Know Who You Are? was released on October 18, 2007. A beautiful combination of inspirational sayings and animal paintings, it's sure to delight children of all ages, including the child within.

Her second book, Do You Know Who Your Children Are? was just released in April. This book is designed to show parents the gifts children bring into their lives as it closely examines typical roles and what the parent can learn about his or herself while raising children.

Upcoming workshops, to be announced, are based on her books.
