This unique building is the last remaining building of the late John Hauenstein Brewery. This portion of the brewery was the wash house, fermentation cellar and ageing cellar! The 10,500 sqft structure now consists of a 2,000 sqft "Caretakers Quarters" on the top floor and a 2,500 sqft "Living Quarters" on the main floor. The upper level currently serves as a two bedroom two bath apartment with stunning views of New Ulm. This unit soars above its surroundings at a towering 65'. Come back down to the main level and you will find a spacious living quarters with two bedroms, two bathrooms, and expansive floor plan with many windows. Take a step out the patio door into the "garden of ruins".... it used to house the engine that ran the heart of the building - the concrete pad is still there! Look a bit further and you will find the keg cellar where you can entertain, make a work shop or maybe use it as an extension of the home. Enjoy the serenity of the wooded yard and take a stroll up the hillside to find a hidden patio as well. As you enter the building again you will find quite a bit more space to let your creative side come out- the 2,500 sqft on the third floor or the 2,000 sqft on the main floor (former Seasons at the Brewery store) could be more living space, potential store (with city approval) or anything else you can imagine! The lowest level of the building features another cellar that is currently a primitive theater with a cozy wood stove. Beyond this space is the attached one stall garage and a three season porch above it. So much to see, so many possibilities- come and imagine!!!
